OUR STORY
The history of Pitchwood Alehouse is rooted in the legacy of the Top Notch Tavern, which opened in 1934 to serve the bustling logging community. Known for its rowdy clientele, the Top Notch was a staple in Raymond’s colorful past. When new ownership took over in May 2012, they rebranded the establishment as Pitchwood Alehouse, keeping the town’s logging heritage alive while offering a modern, family-friendly environment.
